NCVO ICT Foresight

The ICT Foresight blog is now up and running!

My name is Megan Griffith and I’m a Research Officer at NCVO. There’s more info about me on the Who’s who page

This blog is the public face of a Foresight research project looking at the impact of ICT on the VCS. This means not only looking at how VCOs (voluntary and community organisations) use or could use ICT to further their missions, but also at how ICT is driving change in society, and what implications this has for VCOs and the complex relationships they have with their many stakeholders (funders, beneficiaries, users, volunteers, donors, staff, regulators, competitors, partners, etc. etc. etc.) There’s more info about the areas we are looking at on the About ICT Foresight page.

The blog has two aims:

1. To build up an online resource of information and analysis on how ICT is changing voluntary action
2. To be a space for discussion and debate – so please add comments, the blog won’t reach its full potential without them!
